Sorry, i'm used to doing titles like that. and no, i didn't misspell anything. it sounds like andy gets into town the 24th. We all need to get together, and since i, like probably most of you, am alone all the time, it should be easy. thoughts pleeeeease.

I only referenced andy because he's essentially the only one i care about. sorry mark and everyone else.

Round Two

Just so you all are aware, I will be headed back over seas again within the next few weeks. This time to the Afghanistan area. I wish you all luck in all of your endeavors and know that I wish i could be there for you guys in you accomplishments as well as your failures. Thanks for all being the greatest group of individuals that I have ever known! I am looking forward to seeing you all in about a year.

I miss us

We just had some friends over and we got on the topic of high school. I bragged about how cool all my friends were and even boasted that we have a blog that we use to stay in touch. I showed them but then realized that no one has said anything for a while. It made me feel disappointed in you guys. I mean, how can I brag about you if you don't deserve it? (I hope you are picking up the sarcasm here and know that I could never be disappointed in you ... unless you voted for Barack Obama of course) Here is an update on my life:

I'm tired of working at Evergreen Services, Inc. Ten years has yielded basically the same experiences over and over. I want something that is more exciting and offers a high degree of unpredictability. All I really want to do is file people's taxes.

I'm currently studying for LSAT ... for those of you who aren't as smart as me, that is the Law School Admissions Test (I think). I'm going to be Scott's dad when I grow up.

Hopefully everyone still has access to the Internet (did you know that Internet is generally capitalized when referring to "the" "Internet"? It's a proper noun. Look it up. On the Internet.). If you have lost your Internet connection, try to think of some other way to communicate with each other. But not by phone, because phone conversations can get incredibly awkward.

I miss and love you all. Thanks for being friends who deserve to be bragged about.

Ford Has Fulfilled His Dreams

I'm not quite sure how many of you knew about this water battle that took place a few weekends ago. I didn't go, maybe Andrew did? Anyway, Ford did it. He made it on the school news and everything. I think it is awesome. Good job Ford (even though you don't ever read this ... which I guess gives us permission to say bad things about you ...) J-Hal, you are not alone

last night was one of my more interesting nights in moscow. i have a friend here who when he drinks too much suffers from extreme 'night terrors'. if you wish to know what a night terror is, think of jason when he used to pass out. exactly like it except this kind is inspired by booze. anyway, because my friend was REAlly drunk i knew what was coming so i slept on the couch.

sure enough, around 3 in the morning i hear him running down the hall and into the kitchen. as he did so i bolted in hot pursuit. by the time i got to the kitchen he ran out the back door and as i was about to exit the house i hear an explosion of glass. yes, he punched a window, breaking it and cutting up his hand. i got him away from the glass, tackled him, and pinned him to the ground until he woke up. we calmed him down and everyone went back to bed.

6am. my friend was sleeping on the couch next to me. i woke up to him violently convulsing. as i'm about to pin him to the ground again he stops, promises me he's awake, and begins walking away. now, i wasn't sure if he was or wasn't.. so i followed him.. and he was definitely not awake. as i turned the corner he dropped to the floor and began pounding the floor over and over with his now cut up hand. again, i pin him to the ground for a few minutes until he woke up.

7am. i wake up to him sprinting past me down the hall. i was sleeping pretty deep at this point and it took me a second to give chase. i ran down the hall and found him (we'll say friend A) in my other friend's room, on top of my friend (we'll say friend B), just slapping him in the face. now, friend B has been really annoying and questionable lately so i just sat back and watched for a bit.. just making sure no one got seriously hurt. suddenly friend A gets up, and tries to run back down the hall past me. as he tried i shoulder checked him into the wall and pinned him again. after a few minutes i coulda sworen he was awake so i let him up. .. .. very much still sleeping cause he turned and punched a hole in the wall. this time when i pinned him he fought and fought hard but i kept him pinned.. barley. by this time everyone else in the house was awake. i passed the job of guarding against night terrors to them.. and i went to sleep.

Thing 1: I saw Brody Rumsey today. I think that is how you spell his name. It was at a classic car show at Rocky Mountain Middle School. He was pushing a stroller and the only thing I heard was "That is one "f'n" nice car." Thinking back, I can't say if I remember there being a baby in the stroller. I was just so fascinated by the site of Brody's beard and personage.

Thing 2: I heard an ad on the radio that D-nots is playing a show sometime in Idaho Falls. I say we get in Scott's mom's Toyota, grab a megaphone and go find them. Hope you all are well.
