So, for the past couple of years I've been working on a list of the world's most annoying words in English in the world. I am interested in hearing what words (excluding the crude ones) strike you as the world's most annoying words in the world.
A few examples include:

chilled veggies
cool beverage
neat
lol

isn't lol an acronym? I'm not sure i would consider that a word, although i do find it really annoying. how about smudge. that really bugs me.
I use lol in casual conversation nearly everyday. In fact, I used it in my job interview the other day. I think it went over well. LOLZ.
